What’s a great present for someone who values experiences over things? This year my hubby got me a fun experience as my Christmas present and so in January we went to Dopamine Land.
It’s described as a multi-sensory experience that combines media, technology and play in one place. It’s an interactive museum that channels the limitless imagination of your inner child into reality. It’s been running all year in South Kensington, London and it keeps getting extended. I guess because it’s so much fun!
I loved the ball pit! They are a favourite of mine. This one had stylish white balls with cool lighting. There were the musical tiles and we spent a while in there trying to perfect a tune using the pressure pads on the floor that added audio stings over the base track playing into the room. Other rooms included the Popcorn Chamber, the writing on the wall, infinite led coloured balls room, the forest and the bedouin chill out.
The last room was very silly. With a sound track of N-Trance, Set You Free, I got to attack Arby in the pillow fight room. Apparently I was going at it quite hard and he felt a bit bruised after. Sorry babe! (see video for evidence)

There were loads of rooms all with unique concepts, even more than I’ve mentioned here. At the end there’s even an arcade machine and a few silly installations to round off the special date. Thanks for the gift, I had a blast!
Hurry, it’s finally ending in September.
