The most extensive assortment of Banksy artworks under private ownership will persistently grace London with its presence, following its prior showcases in global metropolises like Melbourne, Tel Aviv, Toronto, and Chicago.

Since May 2021, the exhibit has been captivating audiences in Covent Garden, affording London residents and those visiting the city the chance to explore more than 90 genuine, unique creations by the enigmatic street artist. This compilation of art from private holdings encompasses prints, screen prints, canvases, and exclusive editions.

What an afternoon wandering through the tunnels and rooms in the depths of Covent Garden looking at the amazing collection from who has to be Britains most infamous street artist. The collection was meticulously laid out and well lit interspersed with video screens showing Ben Eine talking about the rise and infamy of his old friend BANKSY and their escapades back in the day when Ben was his printer back in Shoreditch.

Amongst the work were some of IMO Banksy’s great art pranks including the guerrilla exhibit of the caveman rock which went unnoticed for several days in the British Museum and the ‘Banksy vs Paris Hilton” where he replaced the sleeves and CD’s in 42 record stores across the UK  tampering with her debut musical release (these items are below in the mini gallery).

I just want to make the world a better looking place. If you don’t like it, you can paint over it!

IN SUMMARY

Banksy is an internationally acclaimed and enigmatic street artist whose work has captivated audiences around the world. Known for his thought-provoking and often politically charged art, Banksy’s true identity remains a mystery, adding an air of intrigue to his creations. To have so much of his work in one place albeit it UNAUTHORISED, which for me is straight out of his playbook, well worth a visit.
