A Seafood Dream in Valencia

Welcome to a culinary adventure like no other in the heart of Valencia – Marisqueria L’Odisea. Located in the centre of this vibrant Spanish city, L’Odisea stands out as a seafood haven where dining becomes an art form. With a captivating concept that empowers you to design your own menu, Marisqueria L’Odisea promises an exquisite journey through the bounties of the sea, a voyage that harmonises the freshest catches with your personal palate, resulting in an unforgettable symphony of flavours.

You feel at home the moment you walk through the door, the staff welcome you and immediately get into explaining the concept of the restaurant, where after you are furnished with drinks, you are invited to the seafood bar which has all the options on todays menu. You simply pick what you would like and how much ,as all is sold by weight, and once you have selected which seafood treats you want that evening, you are given options how each course will be served.

As a big fans of seafood we went all out and ended up designing a 7 course dinner consisting of King Prawns, King Scallops, Mussels, Razor Clams, Squid, Octopus and Monkfish Fillets accompanied by a Caprese Salad. We were there for the night…

Each dish arrived in turn, beautifully cooked and full of flavour at no point did we feel rushed, they have got this down pat with enough time between courses to feel you were ready for more but never thinking ‘where is the next dish?’

The staff were fantastic, it really felt like the menu was designed just for us….. and it kinda was 🙂
